Depression could be the cause of pain and pain could be the
cause of depression. Serotonin and dopamine level works to control balance each
other. Pain may cause anxiety. For this, positive behavior, social
relationships and finding out the matter what makes you happy are argent. To
believe in fate and to be optimistic are not the same. Now, let us learn some
words which we should not say to the person who is suffering from mental pain
or depression.
If a person suffers from depression, never tell him, there
are many people who are living in worse condition than you. Rather say, “You
are not alone, I am on your side.”
Do not say the words to the man who is suffering from severe
depression, “Everything does not remain in favor of man.” Say, “You are an
important person to me.”
Do not say, “You should go to a vacation.” Because, he will
not be free from depression just going somewhere else. MD. Norman Sussman,
professor of psychology, New York University Langone Medical Center, said,
“Depression lives with them and they suffer guilty as they does not feel good.”
You are showing him the easiest wrong way saying, “Smile or
cheer up.” According to Sussman, it is the same to say this to a depressed
person and to ask a person who has broken his leg it walk.
When you say to a man who is suffering from anxiety, there
are many things for you to be grateful. Then he thinks, “I did not do anything
to be happy, I am not grateful to life.” The person who suffer from anxiety,
always suffer guilt and shame. If you could measure any way, then you could
understand that the man who is suffering from anxiety tries relentlessly to be
good. Nobody wishes to remain sad willingly.
According to Bandura’s theory of social action, your one step is enough to keep your life good. You have to believe that you will do something different. Your positive behavior will increase your belief. Fatalistic attitude destroys the faith. It is said in fatalism, everything in this world was predetermined so there is no option of changing fate. So, you have to believe that you can improve your situation with your efforts.
